1 ounce homemade strawberry syrup
6 ounces (3/4 cup) soda water (aka club soda)
1 squeeze lemon juice
Ice (try clear ice!)
For the garnish: lemon wedges

Instructions

Make the strawberry syrup.
In a highball glass, stir the strawberry syrup with 1 ounce soda water. Add ice to the glass.
Add the remaining soda water and a squeeze of lemon juice, and stir gently with a straw until combined. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.
