This banana daiquiri recipe is a frosty, refreshing tropical rum drink! It’s quick and easy to blend up this frozen cocktail.
- 2 ripe bananas
- 4 ounces* aged rum
- 2 ounces Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 2 ounces lime juice
- 1/2 to 1 ounce simple syrup (depending on the bananas)
- 1 1/2 cups ice
- If time, slice the bananas into rounds and freeze for 1 to 2 hours. Otherwise, skip this step and use 2 cups ice instead of 1 1/2 cups when blending.
- Combine all ingredients in blender (starting with 1/2 ounce simple syrup) and blend until smooth. Taste and add the additional syrup if desired, depending on the sweetness of the fruit. Serve immediately, garnished with a cocktail cherry or lime wheel if desired.
*To convert to tablespoons, 1 ounce = 2 tablespoons
