Description
Balsamic strawberries with Greek yogurt are a delicious dessert; the balsamic vinegar brings out just the right tangy note in ripe strawberries!

For the balsamic strawberries
- 2 cups strawberries (1 pint)
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons aged balsamic vinegar
- Fresh ground pepper
For serving
- 12 mint leaves
- 15 ounces Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and slice them. In a small bowl, mix the berries with 2 tablespoons maple syrup and 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar. Add a few grinds of fresh pepper. Stir and allow to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes, more if time.
- Meanwhile, chiffonade the mint leaves.
- In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt and 2 tablespoons maple syrup (to taste).
- To serve, place a dollop of the yogurt in a bowl, and top with berries and mint.
