- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- 2 bananas (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup water*
- 8 ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, stopping and scraping when necessary. If needed, add a splash more water to get it to blend. Store up to 1 day in a sealed jar.
*To add protein, use 1/4 to 1/2 cup Greek yogurt instead of milk. If necessary, add a few more splashes of water until the smoothie blends.
