Ingredients

- 2 ounces (1/4 cup) tequila reposado (or blanco*)
- 4 ounces (1/2 cup) ginger ale
- Ice, for serving (try clear ice)
Instructions
- Add the tequila and ice to a glass and stir to combine.
- Top with the ginger ale.
- Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
Notes
*This cocktail has great flavor with the oak and vanilla notes of tequila reposado. You can use tequila blanco, but it’s a less interesting drink. You may want to add a squeeze of fresh lime juice and/or a few dashes bitters in that case.
