This strawberry puree is full of bright berry flavor! It’s ideal for drizzling on pancakes, waffles, and cakes…or eating with a spoon.
- 1 pound strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar, maple syrup, honey, or agave)
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Clean the berries. Puree all ingredients in food processor or in a high speed blender. Adjust the sugar to taste depending on ripeness of strawberries. Store refrigerated for up to 4 days, or frozen for 3 months.
