This 2-minute recipe unlocks the secret to the perfect strawberry smoothie! It’s deliciously thick, perfectly sweet, and bursting with fresh flavor.


  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (or plain, vanilla or strawberry)*
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana (room temperature)


  1. Place all ingredients in the order listed in a blender, breaking the banana into pieces. Add 1/2 cup ice. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping a few times to scrape down the sides.**
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired (flavor will vary based on the ripeness of the bananas and brand of berries). Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days.


Optional add-ins include 1 tablespoon almond butter or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.

*If using vanilla yogurt or strawberry yogurt, start with less sweetener and add more to taste. For vegan, use 2 cups frozen strawberries, 2 bananas (room temperature), 1/2 cup water and 8 ice cubes. Or, follow the recipe above, omitting the Greek yogurt and adding additional oat milk to get the smoothie to blend. 

**For optimal blending, start with your liquids at the bottom of the blender. Smoothie not blending? Stop and scrape a few times, then try adding a hint more liquid.
