This Old Fashioned blueberry cobbler has a little magic! As it bakes, the berries sink and the batter forms a golden crust on top.
Frozen blueberries: Frozen blueberries can be used in the cobbler instead of fresh with a good result, although the taste of fresh berries is better. But when my mom tried it, the berries did not sink to the bottom. She recommends to rinse frozen berries under cold water for a minute and set to drain in the colander while you mix the batter. Place the semi-thawed berries in the bottom of the baking dish on top of the melted butter and then add the batter. Bake until the center of the batter is done or golden brown.
