This homemade gingerbread hot chocolate is so much better than a storebought mix, and just as easy! It’s cozy for Christmas or any frosty evening.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a medium pot and whisk to combine over medium heat; do not boil.
- Serve immediately in mugs. (If you’re up for a decadent treat, top with our Homemade Whipped Cream.)
