Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries (or substitute frozen)
3 ounces vodka*
½ ounce Cointreau or triple sec
½ ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup

Instructions

Place the blueberries and vodka in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a container.
Place the blueberry vodka, Cointreau, lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add 1 handful of ice and shake until cold. Strain into a martini glass. If desired, garnish with more blueberries and a lime wedge.

Notes

*Replace the vodka with blueberry vodka for an even more intense berry flavor.
