I have listened to nearly all of your podcasts and love how honestly you talk about food, life, and people. It makes me feel a familiar comfort in my kitchen even as I work abroad in a difficult location.

Just a gentle comment from a loyal listener: I know you have to do sponsored posts to keep your blog and podcasts alive, but I couldn’t even finish this podcast because I was so turned off to the advertisement. And I love Muir Glen tomatoes! I just don’t want to listen to a 30 minute podcast where a product is pushed five times. We all get enough of that from everywhere else.

Hi there, thank you so much for your feedback! We appreciate you letting us know your thoughts. In order to keep our podcast sustainable, we have ads on some of the episodes (as you alluded to!). However, we do try to keep a balance between sponsored and non-sponsored episodes. And when working with a brand, we make sure it’s a brand we trust and actually use, like Muir Glen (glad to hear you’re a fan too). We really appreciate your honesty, and I would be happy to chat over email if you’d like to discuss further! Our email is [email protected].

I have loved listening to all your podcasts, especially while cooking, doing dishes or jogging. They are fun and motivating and you guys are so easy to listen to! You mentioned that you have a listerner in Australia. Just wanted you to know that you have one In New Zealand as well! My family is American but we have lived in Auckland for the past four years. I’ve also told heaps of my Kiwi friends about your podcast so you probably have or will have some new Kiwi listeners soon!

Great episode! I’ll be biased and say one of my favorite foodie cities right now is my own: Toronto. It has so many great institutions doing their thing with such pride, as well as new restaurants opening up constantly because of so many passionate chefs wanting to have a creative outlet for their cooking. Because Toronto is so multicultural, we get the highest caliber of so many different types of cuisines, we highly recommend you come visit!

Thank you, Mateus! I love that you mentioned Toronto — we visited for 1 day on a layover last year and LOVED it in the short time that we were there! We’d love to spend more time there. What is your favorite restaurant(s) that we should try? Sending our best from Indiana — thank you so much for listening!
