Food a Plenty

In the wake of a holiday full of family, friends, and delicious eats, I’m struck by how lucky I am to be able to celebrate in this way — with such an overabundance of food. It seems unfair that I can spend the season being careful not to eat too much, when many in our community and world are wondering where their next meal may come from.
Alex and I are so thankful to have been blessed with the resources to make the food on A Couple Cooks and share it with you. And in this holiday season of plentiful food, we’re even more challenged to reach out to those who may never have the opportunity to worry about burning the turkey or running out of pie.
Our journey into food and cooking has also started an exploration of food-related charities. We’re in the initial stages, but here are some local and international organizations with great missions. Let us know your favorites, and the ways you’re planning to give back this season!
